My mother and sister have corgis, and I finally got in on the act. I got Riley from a local breeder In July 2007. Being a new puppy mom was extremely tough...whining at night regardless of what I did, piddles in the house, carpet chewing, vet visits to keep up on shots, but it really was all worth it.

Riley is a beautiful tri-colored male with a wonderful red head, blazing white front with white legs and a gorgeous black back. So many people have complemented him and said he is the most handsome corgi they've ever seen. Ok, I know that sounds elitist, but it's not meant to be.

Riley has really turned into quite a character. Follows mom everywhere I go, he practically wiggles himself down the stairs when I come home, warbles and gurgles most of the time instead of barking, and his favorite word is "rawhide", gets him in the house every time!

    Congratulations on your engagement and for getting Riley. He is very HANDSOME! We are very lucky to have an off leash dog beach in Southern CA. When I first took them to the beach, they wouldn't go near the ocean and now they are pros at the dog beach!
