I own a small retail pet store in Washington State, and used to do Search and Rescue with my German Shepherd, Gabriel, who passed away suddenly in Feb. (He was happily bossed around by his Corgifriends, who miss him terribly.) I also have several cats, and two wonderful horses.
Surprisingly, everyone gets along fairly well... *grin*
My Pembroke Corgi is a rehomed/rescue dog, and I breed and show Cardigan Corgis.
Riley: My shop dog and constant companion, Riley was a puppy mill dog. He was dropped off at my shop when he was 12 weeks old; the person who bought him realized she made a bad decision to buy him, and couldn't keep him... He's a great ambassador for his breed, and also a great way to explain why you shouldn't purchase a pup this way.
"Simon Sez" aka Simon - my blue merle Cardigan Corgi. He is my number one photo-fella - he knows exactly what the camera is and he works it like any good model. He's an incredibly intelligent guy with a ton of personality and drive. You ask, he does, and he does it with style -- talk about a truly perfect gentleman of a dog.
"Caleb" - Our other show Cardigan Corgi, a red brindle male born in December 08. He struts his stuff in the ring; he likes to show off, and he likes to show. He's got a bit of an ego, I'm afraid, but he loves any and all dogs, cats, and random hamsters... and assumes they should just love him right back.
Temperance: Our new blue merle Cardigan girl and show/obedience prospect!
Tess and Rachel - Caleb's daughters and my newest show prospects!
CONGRATULATIONS!!! Got my CWCCA News Bulletin in the mail today and was not at all surprised to see that you had won 3 of the 6 best photos. Glad to see everyone appreciate how awesome your photos are too!!
