- I have had Sadie since she was a puppy and she continues to be Miss Independent, loved most of agility except the coming and in general is very good natured and loves walks in the woods and kayaking.
At 11 y.o. I adopted Taffy. I rescued her from a home that could no longer take care of her due to her owner in a nursing home and illness of another family member that could no long take care of her. Couldn't find her a home because of her age, but to me she's always seemed like a puppy as everything we did together was new and unknowing just like a puppy and she has the best disposition I've ever seen and stays right with us. She is now 13 1/2 y.o. and is having trouble keeping her back legs under her, but can still do a little jogging...very little but loves her trots in the woods too! - I have:
