Abraham came to us from a ranch in E Oregon in the spring of 2009. At the time we knew his birthday was in November and he was 18 months old. Looking up famous birthdays in November I discovered that Danny DeVito's DOB was 11/17 and beings he and Abraham both have short legs felt it was only fitting that they share a birthday.
I love to run and run and run. I have a large (by city standards) lot that I can chase balls and neighbor cats to my hearts delight. I am the biggest beggar of all food and a huge help in the kitchen keeping the floors clean. I share my home with Lizzie and Daisy both cats and then outside there are two chickens named Rosa and Sophie who will give us eggs someday! I love car rides but much prefer long walks.

    Thank you so much for your post. I will be out of commission for a week (give or take based on rate of recovery). It would be wonderful to have her around another corgi. She would usually stay with some friends of mine who have two dogs and three cats and are very active, however they are doing renovations at their house right now. I would love to talk more about your great offer. :)

    I actually just got a call from another friend who will be able to watch her. But thank you so much for being so kind and generous! Maybe Abraham and Sydney could have a playdate sometime. :)

    I'm in Kenton in North Portland. We go to the dog park pretty regularly, so that's also a possibility. Sydney was just spayed this week so it would have to be after she's recovered and is able to run around and play again. She'll definitely need it after being cooped up in the house (and so will I)!
