I am a retired elementary school teacher who lives on a small flood control lake with my retired school teacher husband. We love dogs and have enjoyed our four-legged friends for years. During the winter, we drive to Florida for the winter, taking our pets with us. I have three grown daughters who are all dog lovers and a twelve-year old grandson who loves to play with my dogs. My hobbies are playing on the computer, genealogy, music and corgies. I am excited about this spot to communicate with others who enjoy their pets.
About My Corgi(s):
After losing my 14 year-old corgi, I was very depressed and lonely. I decided to do some computer research to find another dog. Since I loved corgies, I looked on the corgi rescue page. Low and behold, I came in contact with a wonderful person, Linda, who introduced me to two wonderful corgi sisters, Gynx and Cinni, who came to my house to live. They are such a joy and keep me entertained all through the day. Gynx is certainly the alpha dog and loves to play with a football, while Cinni is very shy and enjoys my large backyard. I feel so fortunate to have these two lovely dogs come to live with me.
Katherine and Tom were down for an agility competition over Thanksgiving. We were talking about you and the girls. I am so thrilled for them. Finally they are settled into a family and being spoiled. Katherine wanted t know if you would be interested in adopting her! ;-) Gynx was always a ball player. She could have been an all-star if she were just a little taller! And Cinni has found what she has always wanted, a cuddley bed partner. And I hope that dad is still infatuated with his girls.
Please do let us know before you leave. Perhaps Katharine and I can visit before you leave for the land of sunshine. And most important, we are so glad that you are now doing well.
