We'll be heading to the coast on Sunday for a few days, but up north instead of down your way.We like to go up to gualala to the redwood area on the river. We hope to get down your area the end of June. Our friends, which are also Our Daughter's in-laws,the wife shares My birthday,so We try to celebrate sometime together.Your Ranger is a doll!About the herding,up in Our area, there are no facilities in Our county, but next door Sonoma has several. No herding for Us though with Merlins double ccl surgeries.Aolot of folks start their corgis out on geese or ducks.Take care :)

Sorry,Elise,I forgot to answer the question about Merlin's surgeries. He had both hindlegd operated on a month apart for cranial cruciate ligament damage. He hurt the first one flying down a sand dune over at Bodega bay, then somehow He hurt the 2nd one just walking outside on the patio to go potty. It's been 4 months since the 2nd surgery and He's doing very well. The only time You really notice He still has an issue is when He first gets up from sleeping.Kinda looks like Me!!A little creaky in the knees :)

I love your pictures!  I had to make my husband come in and look Ranger herding!  Ranger looks like he loves to do it also, like he is having so much fun herding those sheep.
