- I am Michelle, and I live in Baton Rouge. I'm joining this site because I LOVE CORGIS. I work at a pet store, and since the first day I started working there and saw their picture on a magazine, I fell in love. Now 6 years later, I have raised 2 corgis and still look up pictures and run to the front of the retail store I work at when I see one come through the door. Working with dogs on a daily basis, I have not come across any other breed that I enjoy as much as the corgi personality. I just love it!

- I just added a second addition to my corgi family. So now I have Lexie, who is 2 years old, and Abby who is my new puppy. Lexie is great, very intelligent, motivated for food (like most corgis), and witty. She is my true best friend. We are having a blast raising Abby. I was apprehensive at first about getting another dog but it has turned out for the best. The two of them really get along great! On a sadder note, my very first corgi, Eddie, was also my best friend. I had him until he was 2 years old and then went on a 3 week vacation. During that time he ran away from the person that was keeping him and never returned. It broke my heart and I will never forget him and what a loyal companion he was to me.
