- My husband, Pete, and I live in Palo Alto with our two Corgis, Lily Rose, who is 1 and 1/2, and Charlie Tuna, who is just ten weeks old. We have a home filled with art ( and Corgi fur) and a beautiful garden filled with roses ( and Corgi fur). We give lots of parties (Corgis invited) and love going to Kauai each year (Corgis not invited). I also love going to France with my best friend Barbara, whose yellow Lab, Daisy, is Lily's best friend as well. Alas, Lily and Daisy can't come along on our travels to Europe, though we have had Girls' weekends in Carmel... Ocean Beach will never be the same.

- Lily Rose is 1 and 1/2 and is the prettiest girl. She loves everybody and is always the life of the party. She has a ball fetish and would love to be able to catch a squirrel, cat, or crow, not necessarily in that order. She plays rough and only gets mad if another dog has the gaul to try to come out on top. She loves her "nest" and has a million toys, which she seems to have on a permanent rotation. Her favorite roost in the house is on top of the back of the sofa in the family room.She is a Daddy's Girl and enjoys hopping in the shower with Pete. She insists on lavishly kissing everyone who enters our home and is equally insistent on receiving many kisses and belly rubs in return. Charlie Tuna is only ten weeks old and came home June 4th! He's a very affectionate boy and I suspect is going to have quite a challenge in winning over Lily Rose, accustomed as she is to being the Queen of all she surveys....

Melissa and Franklin!
Jenna and I will hopefully be having lots of play dates so I'll keep you posted!! I will be in the bay area next Tuesday, but not sure when I will be by the vet with Franklin to pop in and say hi. Last time I brought Franklin in he was VERY nervous about being at the vet! Poor guy! I'm trying not to have too high of expectations for the puppy but its hard since Franklin was sooooo cute and happy and friendly when he came home!
