My husband and I are corgi lovers and hope to grow a bigger family (corgis and babies) when we move to Washington. We are currently both active duty Air Force and go to school part time. My husband will be getting his degree in Math and will go on to be a high school math teacher while I am getting my degree in Elementary Education! When we graduate from UAA we will be heading down to live in Orting, WA!
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Buster was born in Homer Alaska and brought to live with us here in Anchorage, Alaska. He is a spunky guy and is named after Buster Bluth from Arrested Development. He is apparently not aware of his own weight as he usually tries to sleep on top of my husband and my chest or face! He is overly playful with the cat and I'm sure the cat is not always his biggest fan. He also LOVES to bark, especially when the doorbell rings or screen door opens - even if it is on TV.
Gemma's been standing on three legs in the really cold weather - makes it tough to pee! And of course as soon as I bought booties, it started raining. Ugh.
Thanks, she has turned out better than I could have ever asked for! Such a sweetie and she really tries so hard to be a good doggie. Almost 1 yo! Her breeder splits her time between Maine and New Mexico, fortunately she was in Santa Fe when it was time to pick Gemma up. Two plane flights was enough. We have done classes with both Alaska Dog Sports and Alyeska Canine Trainers and I'd recommend either, they both had excellent trainers. For us it has been more about which classes are being held and which days we can get to. I haven't done much this winter just because I can't get the timing of any classes lined up with my schedule. I got lucky, Gemma only rips up the boxes I give her, everything else is safe. Buster and the cat is so cute!!!
