About My Corgi(s):
Gracie will be a year old on January 28th. I got her the week before my wedding from my horse trainer. He had a litter of pups and Gracie was his favorite but he hadn't sold her yet. I played with her a couple times that week and fell in love. I honestly had no intention of getting another dog although I had wanted a Corgi. Needless to say, after pleading with my husband, she made the trek home with my best friend Lyns and I. My husband will never admit it but he loves her just as much as I do. =)
Gracie is fitting into her barn routine very well and has even started herding our miniature horses. She is very focused and loves her job. She gets so excited when she jumps in the truck to go to "work"!
We have two quarter horses and a breeding stock paint weanling filly that was given to us as she needs a hernia surgery and the people were moving and didn't want to take her and worry about having the surgery done. She is a doll I can't wait until she is big enough to ride. We have an 17 year old gelding that my kids ride and then my husband just got a 3 year old filly a couple of weeks ago. So now I am on the search for a horse for me to ride lol. We do a lot of everything: gaming, sorting, penning, barrels, trailrides, take them to the mountains. I grew up doing some of everything so that is what I am teaching my kids. None of them are into showing right now, they all are more interested in the gaming/rodeo events. We will see what happens.
