About Me:
Hi, I'm a middle-aged woman living with my husband in a rented apartment. We both have always loved to have a dog, but have not been very successful in finding one that fit our lifestyle and fit into an apartment and that would not constantly bark and any thing and every thing. We finally found the perfect 'fit' when we found Samantha, our 6 yr old female Cardigan Welsh Corgi. My husband and I are very happy with her.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Almost 4 weeks ago my husband and I traveled to a nearby Animal Shelter to look at a dog we thought we knew from 5 yrs. ago. It turned out that the dog in question was NOT our dog from 5 yrs ago, but, what we discovered was that she was an absolute angel and would be a perfect fit for our apartment and us. Samantha is her name and she's 6 yrs old and is a Corgi/Collie mix. She looks more like a Corgi than anything else. Samantha had lots of matted hair on her but has now been shaved in order to remove the matted hair. She is super sweet! Only barks when something is wrong. She is very mannerly, very polite with strangers, walks extremely well on leash, comes when she's called. We keep her indoors all the time but she goes outside for potty time and when we take her for a walk several times a day. I feel very blessed to have found her!
I have:
Corgi mix

    Hi Becky. You asked what I feed my Pupsters. . .I alternate days with Blue Buffallo kibble (I've tried others, but they really enjoy this brand). In the morning, they have fish with sweet potato and in the evening, they have chicken with brown rice. Then on Saturdays, they have lamb with vegetables canned food in the morning and lately grilled hamburgers with us for dinner. My brother makes each one of them a breadless hamburger with tomatoes and lettuce. I truly believe they think they're getting treats. . . .I just love pampering them--after all they are my fur-kids. . . .LOL

    WOW, I don't know what to say. . .I've introduced my cats as kittens so they are used to dogs before they come to this household. I would think after a while, they would just get used to each other. It helps if the cats don't run away. They just lay there and the dogs go over to them and sniff and even lick their faces. . .must be the cat food breath. . .LOL
