I'm a college sophomore, majoring in social studies education, with an obsessive love of corgi's!
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
I got my Liza about a year ago from a rescue. She had been badly injured and burnt in some local forest fires, but I nursed her back to health and now she is thriving. Liza is like a daughter to me. She is not a pure-bred corgi, but she's a very interesting mix of Cardigan Welsh and German Shepherd, really beautiful and so sweet! She absolutely loves chasing lizards in the back yard, eating cheese, and stealing knickers. Occasionally she likes to chew on my laptop when I've been on it too long. She is very good at impersonations and makes very expressive facial movements.
Stats:
Age: 2 years
Weight: 30 pounds
Color: Tan with black mask and white socks
Spayed/Neutered?: Yes
Other physical traits: Soft ears that don't stick up giving her a pigtail-ish look :)
Diet: 3 Caesar Wet food packets and a cup of dry. (plus whatever she wants to sample from the table)
Exercise: 2 daily walks; all the back yard time she wants.
Bad habits: Stealing things, chewing the couch, tracking mud and dirt inside, bolting out the front door the second it's opened.
Funny habits: Trying to pull off my pants when I change out of my jammies because she knows I'm going to work or school, climbing up on a chair after meals to make sure there's none left, herding the cats, running in circles for long periods of time then rolling over exhausted.
Quirks: Reprimanding attitude towards the puppy across the street, laying flat on the floor with all her legs spread out like a starfish, obsession with relocating her bed at certain times of the day.
AW!!! A fire corgi! :( We are so glad that you are her new mommy!! She is sooo cute! All 3 of my corgis are rescues, 2 pembrokes and a cardi mix! Lilly is the cardigan, she is so sweet and docile - she has cancer. Sometimes I wonder why bad things happen to our little ones, because they are so innocent and purely kind. The life we give them, (or really what they give us) is so important - I love my corgis! :)
