I'm a busy person with two corgis in my life! I manage a corgi-meet locally in the Bay area, work full time in an accounting-type position, go to school part-time and I work part-time as a dog trainer at Courteous Canine.
Bernice Brisen "Bernie" CGC - Born 08/25/06
Basil Bennington "Basil" CGC - Born 03/14/08
Cornerstone's Three Time's a Charming Byron "Byron" - Born 10/13/10
Bernie is my trick dog. She learns all sorts of things very quickly so I use her for training demos and to practice training complex behaviors and concepts. She has an issue with one of her shoulders that makes it difficult to do agility competition. She loves agility very much and we practice low-impact things as her shoulder allows.
Basil is in training for agility and we hope to begin competing by end of 2010 or beginning of 2011. He also enjoys dock diving and socializing with puppies in the classes I teach.
Byron is our newest edition and my first Cardigan Welsh Corgi. He came to our home on 10/22/10. He is quite the curious little guy and future agility prospect.
Awww I see you have a corgi named Basil!!! I wanted to name my corgi Basil soo bad but my hubby wouldn't let me. I think that name is so awesome for a corgi. My hubby and I fought over a name for the pup. I wanted Basil and he wanted G.I.R. We finally decided on Igor. I'm glad a corgi out there is named Basil. :D
Hi! No, I am a big loser and have never put a single agility title on my dogs, much less a MACH. My Cardis came from Betty Ann Seeley at Pecan Valley in Arkansas.
Hello! I have a Cornerstone, Too! My Kai is from the lovely Rita! What agreat breeder... I spoke with Rita the other day about Kai and had to tell her what a great dog he is - even now 7 yrs later. Best dog I've ever had. Kai's a b/w, but I also have a blue - different breeder that Rita helped me find - my Blue is the crazy Luna. Your dogs are beautiful!
