- My husband & I are first time dog owners. Now have had 2 Pembroke Corgis, who are ten years old now. My husband and I had one cat for 21 years. Waited a couple of years after she died and got these two beautiful, loving pups--they haven't always been the best of "friends" but we would have never parted with either one!

- Sophie and Bambi. Bambi was a rescue pup who we got two years after Sophie.
Bambi had been a young mother who had two litters of pups and the breeder said she wasn't "giving good milk". We brought her home a "very anxious" pup and found out she had heart worms. We had her treated. It seemed like a long treatment but she survived. Now she is 8 years older and has a personality like a "big kitty". We say she is a reincarnation of our cat, Baby who lived to be 21 years old. And our energizer pup, Sophie, quite the opposite in personalities--loves to "play soccer" at night and try to catch every squirrel on our walks! Can't begin to tell you how much love these two Corgis have given us--as late bloomer in marriage we never had children--now I know what it's like to be a mother! - I have:

Your little guys are so gorgeous! Mine just turned 9, and I love them more every single day! I can't imagine my life without them! I am so glad you shared Bambi and Sophie with us! Keep posting!
