    Doreen,

We thought long and hard about adding another to our family. I was concerned because Bailey was 7 years old and very spoiled. We spent alot of time talking to a breeder and was able to find the perfect puppy. Zoey was timid and very ok with Bailey being the Boss. As for the hair...Bailey is a fluff so....Lots of hair. I dont mind it anymore...it is just a part of our lives and house now. :) I was carefull when we picked out tile and carpet to make sure it was "corgi colored." Then we went and got a tri...so well some shows and some don't.

The companionship and affection that they show each other is priceless and totally worth the extra work. Some things have been a challenge, like feeding etc. but we are figuring it out as we go with the dogs help. We have a great vet who was raised with Corgi's and he has been great to suggest ideas that have helped with the transition to a multi-dog house hold. I tell my husband of 30 years, that the only man I would ever leave him for is our Vet cause he loves our dogs as much as I do! ;)

I truely belive that picking the right addition is key. We could have never added an older Dog as Bailey is definately in Charge and the alpha. The fact that he is so spoiled and his Mama's Baby doesn't help either. But he loves his Baby "sister" and we are so glad we now have two Corgi butts in the house!
