7200', 5300' gain (1 mile) in 5+ miles, Class 2, 11 years old. Her 2nd ascent. The volcano is Mt. Baker, to the north. The dark peak is called White Chuck.
The Chillybuddy cooling vest actually works. Warm day.
This climb does involve some use of the "Corgi Toss" maneuver, and belay on a harness; there is some exposure. This is a significant peak for the west side of the Washington Cascades; there used to be a fire lookout, so there's a trail.
