Irritation between nose and upper lip

Hello, everyone! Happy 2013 to all.StarFox has developed what looks like some sort of irritation between his nose and upper lip. I haven't really noticed it until later because he's typically a bit pink around his snout... I only noticed it was quite serious when the groomers pointed it out. I was wondering if this looks like an allergic reaction or possibly something else? The only thing I can pin-point would be these dinosaur-shaped rawhide bones I purchased from Petco's treat bar. He's never…See More

"I give really soft bones -raw chicken necks are usually a good bet. They're easy to chew even for beginner dogs, and their shape is a great way to make sure every surface of the teeth is "scraped" clean. I took him off an entirely raw…"

Sounds great! It is a very fun event! Once you register I'll forward the email about the t-shirts. Colette wants photos that focus on your pup's face at nose level (not from above).

I usually walk the longer one, but if most of the group wants the short walk, we'll do that to stick together. I have a big "Team Low Rider" sign that we carry.

Here's a photo of us from last year that they put in their newsletter!

Here is a link to my fundraising page. I used their standard template and added the quote at the top and uploaded Sidney's photo. It explains what the event is all about. The money raised goes to the Humane Society in Escondido.

I think you were asking about the prizes? That's based on the money you raise. You can donate to yourself if you want to, but you don't have to. Even if you are part of a team, your individual fundraising goes towards your own prize.

You have the choice of a one-mile or a 2 1/2 mile walk. Anyone is free to come walk with you and enjoy the vendors, freebies, events and games, but only registered walkers are eligible for the prizes, or if we win, for the thank you lunch.

please feel free to ask away if you have any more questions!

I think the Red Lobster closed in the mid-late 1990s! It would be on the lower level, below the food court and just north of Nordies.

Every year, the Esco Humane Society holds a big fundraiser at Kit Carson park, called Paws in the Park. You can sign up to walk and raise money, either as an individual or as part of a team. For the last few years the SD corgi meetup has had a team, which we call Team Low Rider. WE came in second place (to the conniving cat ladies) the first two years, and the last year we took first place! We were treated to a lovely thank you luncheon as a reward. You get lots of attention when walking with a herd of corgis!

So all you would have ot do is find the event on the SD corgi meetup page, click on the link to register. IT costs nothing to register. Then create a fundraising page and ask family, friends, co-workers to donate. We're going to have custom t-shirts made, and Colette (leader of the sd corgi meetup group) is going to try to put pics of all the team low rider dogs on the t-shirt. It'll be so cool!

Let me know if you have any other questions or need help with the registration :)
