"My female Cardigan, Magdalen loves are male dogs, Roscoe & Lucky (she & Roscoe, a French Brittany are particularly close); however, Magdalen & my female English Setter, Chelsea have their issues. Female corgis are, generally, more…"
"Please do obedience classes with her........through these classes she will learn to respect you & you will learn how to handle her. Also, a harness is a must.....she won't be able to escape and your walks will be much more…"
"Beth, my Magdalen is on 47 mg 2X a day; she weighs 31 pounds.
Sounds like Maddie is going to do great!! I didn't want to say too much, but I really have thought all along that the side effects would be minimal.
So glad to hear how…"
"Beth, I now certainly understand why you would gate her considering your home is multi-level. May I ask what dosage your vet has prescribed? I am hoping that she experiences minimal side effects just like my Maggie. Please keep us posted."
"The dremel is the best tool ever to file their nails......Maggie happily lays on her back & lets me file her nails because she knows that as soon as I finish one paw, she will be treated. I proceed to the next paw, finish it &…"
"Beth, my Magdalen had seizures in April & May 2012, at 5 years of age. She has been on phenobarbital ever since. In the beginning, she seemed a little "off", a little more needy....probably because she felt different (odd)…"
I was told that after the seizures their blood sugar is extremely low......to give them some honey or Karo syrup to boost the blood sugar levels..........this helps thems recover a little easier.
"Good morning Beth,
My Cardigan Corgi, Maggie experienced a seizure in April 2012 at the age of 5 years old.....it was the first seizure that we witnessed.
Just over two weeks later she had 2 seizures, one right after the other.
We had taken her to…"
Thanks for the connection. Sharon does have nice cardigans and we are so happy to have Le-Le in our life. We got her at 2 since Sharon was going to breed her and then decided not to. So we lucked out. Right place right time to get a great dog. Had a bit of work to do to socialize her since she is shy but now 18+ months living with us she is so sweet, so smart and so easy. Still very wary of strangers and will not let strangers touch her. But all things we can live with and we try and help her with this. Always fun to see other 'family' dogs on here. King George was her dad who is a beautiful Blue Merle though Sharon has since retired him to a 'forever' home.
Thats what I thought....I went to the office here in Orlando, and the recruiter said exactly what you said. But I am still studying their purpose and interviewing people who were in the CG. Thank you so much for your help!
A lot of people tell me NOT to join CG cause I am gonna be sent to Iraq immediately....I dont know, if it happens, ill do it with pride. I come from a military family and we have learned how to be loyal to our country....I am wanting to do Marine Technician, hoping to become an officer by the time I graduate. Hopefully, I will go to those wonderful places that you have been :)
