New Foster, I need help

- About Me:
- I am getting my first corgi on Tuesday(4/27/10) or Wednesday(4/28/10). Corgi's have always been my dream dog. We are going to call him Bentley & I am adopting him for the Hillsborough County Animal Control (thats were my other dog a beagle/basset mix came from). He is in such bad shape. They think he is between 6-8 yrs old. They think he has a flea allergy. He is missing half of his hair on his back & if that not enough he is heartworm postive. His is need of serious dental work but I dont care I cant wait to get him & get him back into shape and looking like a corgi again. I will keep you all posted on how he is doing.

Foster Home Study

So Sharon with Sunshine Corgi rescue is coming tomorrow to do a home study so I can be a foster mom. I am so excited & a bit nervous. I hope I get approved & get to help corgi's find furever homes. Wish me luck !!!!

Happy Birthday:)
It takes time for a rescue dog to regain health and to be able to trust and love again but it is SOOOO WORTH IT to hang in there! My rescue needed time to settle in before she had was able to get her outside bathroom break routine down and she also had a horrible kennel cough for at least a month. She was very shy at first but now she is a lovable clown and she has tons of fans in our neighborhood because she is so friendly and loving.
Hang in there. Many rescue dogs have been through so much hardship and they are so grateful to finally have a loving home or at least the shot of having one in the future.
