"If it's a torn ACL, and it wasn't repaired, then you definitely have arthritis setting in.  At this point, an anti-inflammatory would be your best bet--Rimadyl, Previcox are the most frequently given.   A torn ACL will show up…"

"I've seen positive results in the past when taking my corgis to a chiropractor.  However, for an ACL injury or arthritis I doubt that chiropractic would be of any value."

"Bayer low dose aspirin (81 mg tablets). I think one tablet every 12 hrs. If you have a pet sitter or doggy daycare in your area, they may offer services such as taking your dog to and from medical appointments."

"I haven't taken to her to the vet yet for this most recent injury. That will be on Monday. I don't know if I will have enough anti inflammatory meds until then? Could I use something else? Also any experience with chiropractic methods?"

Hi, Yes, Lulu has bad doggy breath; I've tried bones/treats, tarter liquid in her water, and brushing her teeth, but she still seems to have some degree of bad breath anyway. I'm wondering if it might be due to the type of food I give her. I can't afford to get the pricey food anymore, and so do my best with the best ingredients I can find within a more modest price range. 

Overall, though, I think her breath has improved somewhat since I started on the tartar (Suzie's Tartar) liquid, abraisive bones/treats, and brushing. I don't think dogs are ever going to have "minty" breath for any length of time. Maybe it's the tendency to eat Kitty Roca? :) Just kidding!
