About My Corgi(s):
His name is Ozu (named after the Japanese film director who always shot his films from a low angle) I rescued him the day before he was going to be sent to a laboratory for research. Sadly he had been in a pet shop cage for 8 months of his life, so even at the ripe old age of almost 13 he still does not know how to play with toys. He does love playing with cats, though. Every day he goes for a free (unleashed) walk by the river/stream near my home for at least an hour or more. In the summer, he lazes in the coolness of the creek. While at home, he likes to hang out in the garden, sleeping in the sun. Sometimes on Sunday mornings, we meet up with his "pack" of friends and we walk along the beach in Odaiba. (Tokyo Bay), His canine roommate is a Jack Russell and they often cuddle together.
I have:

Acupuncture for Corgis

Posted on September 16, 2013 at 10:43am 11 Comments

Ozu is back to his old, cranky self.  My pace is the rhythm he walks to. And he is walking again.  Two and half weeks ago, his back legs were shaking so much that the little guy was finding it hard to make his way down the street.  Found a vet who does acupuncture...   The first session worked wonders!   Legs straightened and became sturdy.  He could run again.  Went again today.  He is one happy guy!

Of course. How quickly I forget. I am teaching Bentley to do ita daki masu (sit-up). His back is finally strong enough to keep balance.

Please forgive me, my nihongo is not that great. What does asabou mean in English? I am a fourth generation Japanese-American who does not know that much Japanese.

Welcome to my corgi.
Ozu looks like a sweet corgi.
How has the weather been?
I will be visiting Tokyo and Kyoto this July.
My Bentley says,
"Konichiwa" to Ozu

Ozu is a beautiful Corgi. He has such a loving look, and his eyes! Thanks for checking Bogart's videos. We are going sheep herding this weekend, second time.  Hope to get some good footage.  Your job sounds very interesting!

Welcome Deborah and Ozu! I love how he has his tail, like Sidney.
