About 6 weeks ago, when Loki was 14 weeks, he bit me very hard (enough to draw blood and cause a permanent scar on my knuckle) when I took a bone away from him. He showed no other signs of…Continue

My 14 week-old pup, Loki, tries to eat lots of different things on his walks. This morning, he ate a piece of bark and swallowed it before I could remove it from his mouth. In addition to the mulch,…Continue

"Loki doesn't snuggle, but he does like to lay down on my feet when he's sleepy. It's good enough for me! Corgis are social butterflies, they'd much rather play than do any of that resting business! Don't take it…"

"Oh man, I have EXACTLY the same problem. What I've been doing is the same as you, except I don't take him on a full fledged walk (until after training). So I go outside, find some poop (usually in my own front yard, thanks neighbors!), and…"

"Congrats on the good luck so far. I'm going to add my 2 cents with no claim that it's even worth 2 cents. 1.) We used to have a dog that would bite us.  We did everything we could throughout this dogs life to modify his behavior but…"

"I'm going to add my 2 cents worth and it's probably not worth 2 cents. In my experience it's a very bad thing when a dog bites people even if they are talking his food away.  I'm sorry to say this - we used to have a dog…"

"Ever since I taught Loki to "play dead," he now does it ALL the time because it never fails to make me laugh. He knows that laughing mom = mom more inclined to give out treats! He'll be running around one moment, and then he will just…"

Welcome Tracy and Loki! I agree, a very fitting corgi name. I also think hobbit names are great for corgis :)

Hi Tracy -

Lokie is a pretty handsome little fellow and we, like you, are overwelmed at times. We should certainly get together for a bit of puppy playtime and puppy talk. We'd be happy to share with you what we've learned from our trainer. Everything works but the pups backslide because they're pups. Sometimes, because Corgis are so darn smart, we forget that they're really just babies.

Do you have any puppy playtime on Sunday, January 13th?
