"I suppose I'll bring the rain coat then....mine, not Amy's....she can get soaking wet and love it! We will be there, Paco! Can't wait to meet everyone! Even if there are only a small handful of us. Where there is a corgi, there is a…"
"I know LL Bean sells the personalizable printed nylon collars. And Amy has the removable tag clip too, from Cetacea, because I like switching her collars every season (snowflakes in winter, seashells in summer, blah blah) and needed an easy way to…"
"Poor Cosmo! Good boy for staying calm.
Amy is always uncollared when we're in the house, it's the way she was raised before we got her and I see no reason to alter that at the age of 4 and a half. She just seems more comfortable…"
A meet-up for any corgis in the area! It will be at 10:00 in a residential area with a pond, a wooded area and regular lawn for the little buggers to enjoy. It will end whenever people decide they want to head out. I'll hopefully find a good peanut butter doggy treat recipe for all our best friends. All variations of corgi's are welcomeSee More
"Also, I just linked this discussion to that languishing "Boston Corgi Meetup" thread....maybe some interested parties will find their way over! Amy swims, but the butt end tends to go off in a different direction than the front end. Which…"
"Ok, so, a discussion just opened up on Rhode Island Corgis about a potential meetup in Foxboro on June 11 hosted by Paco Bird....interested parties should check out that discussion! I'm going to try and link it through so you can all just click…"
"Mother's Day is the 8th right? The first full weekend....I was thinking of the second full weekend. Hey, you had me convinced there until I asked my dad what he had planned for Mom's Day and he told me it was the weekend earlier!"
"I have taken Amy to the groomer twice, once during each of the major shed seasons so far, and always the morning of a party at the house. To us it is worth the occasional $40 for someone else to bathe, blow-dry, brush, Furminate, and BABY-SIT the…"
"Yes! Amy agrees! "Drop It" means "Oh no swallow faster so Mommy can't take it away!"
She is getting the idea of dropping things and I notice it is more my tone she hears than the actual word. She scoops up a lot of…"
"Amy did a stint of hiding-under-the-dining-room-table when Jim started attending an evening class last fall...it was just a month after we brought her home, and I think she had just gotten used to the household schedule when there was this sudden…"
"You know how they say that corgis were made to pull the carriages of the faeries? I am thinking they may also have bred a strain of corgis to pull their sleds in winter, and Amy is descended from the sled corgis. She is in a state of bliss. Snow has…"

"It is on the 28th unless the weather is so bad that it is cancelled. In which case it will be on December 5th. I'm not sure how we will find out that it has been cancelled if that is the case, perhaps June will make an announcement in this…"

About My Corgi(s):
Amy is a retired champion and ready to enjoy the good life of a house pet. She is 4 years old.
She was born November 8, 2006 in to the Heronsway kennel in Duxbury, Massachusetts. Her AKC registered name is Ch. Heronsway Circus Circus. Her sire is Ch. Heronsway Time After Time; her dam is Ch. Heronsway Send in the Clowns. I think she was one of 7 in the litter, 5 boys and 2 girls. For her first three and a half years she was owned and shown by her breeder, Anne. She has had 2 litters, one in January of '09 and one in April of '10. I would love if we could find out what any of her siblings or babies are up to!
After her second litter was born, Anne wanted to find a "retirement home" for Amy so Amy could enjoy the life of a beloved house pet while she was still young enough to play and explore her surroundings, and adjust to a new home. We were extremely lucky to be chosen by Anne as good parents for her beautiful, sweet little girl.

Guess what? Our Trudy is related to your Amy!
Looking at our AKC Certificate. Trudy's dam was Rocky Hill L'il Miss Sunshine whose call name was Olive. Olive's dam was Ima Good Girl and her sire was Ch. Heronsway Time After Time. We are getting the registration papers this week, and registering Trudy as Rocky Hill Unique. She has had a unique start to her life.
I was so excited to see the relation with your cutie that now Tru is all excited and doing her happy dance.
My sister and her family, who live in North Easton, got their dog Hoogie (who is a fluffie) from Anne Bowes too. I happen to have his papers. He isn't related to your girl at least for the 4 generations before he was born, which was in 2004.
Hey there! I enjoyed seeing you all at the playdate in Kingston NH. Amy is so frisky and played well with all the other corgis. I hope it was worth your trip up from Quincy. June
