We adopted a rescue several months back. Things have been going really well. The only issued we have now, is Bud eating too fast.

He scarfs his food so quickly that he regularly begins to choke. He often won’t wait to stop chocking before he resume eating.  ARG!

If I don't have one of the boyz on my lap I have the other. They have been sooooo clingy to the point of it being annoying. I have had some time in the hospital a few months back and then another day surgery and I was not allowed to pick them up. Are they sensing my pain or disability. I have stuff to do, and it seems like they are nudging me all the time.

We had quite the uneventful week. YAY!!! We met up with some friends who have a 5 year old corgi mix for our first afternoon at a local dog park and we both had tons of fun! So much so, that I took Poppy back a few days later on my way to my parents house, but it was a bit of a bust as the small dog side was empty. So we went and played with the big dogs and it was fine. Poppy gets alone with dogs of all sizes as long as they aren't aggressive.

Sugar passed away at home in my arms on 1-2-12.  (My Lab) As you can tell on my last post, she lived a lot longer than we all thought.  I am very sad, but she did pass away with a smile on her face.  Now labus & Boudreaux ,my male Corgis are so sad.  Labus more so, he thought she was him Mommy.  I hope this passes with time for him.  He is not a sad kinda guy. Does anyone know if boiled or roitisserie chicken is a bad idea for a Corgi?  Our boy loves turkey and chicken but I don't know if there's anything wrong with giving him a little in moderation.  He is on a special food to balance out his PH level in his urine.  The food is so bland that I feel the need to sneak him a little taste of something tasty.  Your thoughts?

I got my dog last month on the 13th, and he was and IS absolutely adorable... Right now, I have just checked all the photos from last month and MY GOD, Kobi grew BIGGGGG.
