Hello my fellow corgi lovers.  Sadly enough I had to send my Rubie to doggie heaven on 12/27/12 as she got really sick and I had to make that tough decision to let her go.

I am now looking to adopt/rescue a young corgi if anyone out there living in the South Jersey area or in the Phildelphia knows of anyone who has to part with their corgi.  I will give them the best life they can imagine and also my Farina is now a sad 3 year old doggie because she has no one to keep her company…

He's not a corgi, but he's cute!  Our local humane society had a litter of mostly Australian Shepherds (mom is pure Aussie) come in, and Jeremy made the decision that he wanted one of them, and I like that we got to rescue someone who will already be neutered and have 1st vaccinations.  His birthday is October 21st, so he is 11 weeks old.  He will get fixed tomorrow…

As I mentioned a little while ago, my husband and I planned a trip to visit his family in Houston by car, so we could bring Kaylee along with us and hopefully spend a bit less on transportation and boarding. We live in Blacksburg, VA so flying requires at least one layover plus 3 hrs by car for a one-way trip and would likely take a full day anyways. Needless to say the layover and winter temperatures would preclude Kaylee from joining us on a trip by air anyways.
