Corgis and the Carpenter

I have a guy adding on to my deck, he's a friend of a friend and completely trustworthy so he works here at the house during the day while I'm at work. My neighbor, who loves my dogs as much as I do, offered very kindly to come over and let the dogs out if I needed to crate them. Tigger- the personal trainer....

Tigger must want to help keep me on my diet. He snagged the last of the Girl Scout Trefoil cookies off of the table and ate them when I wasn't looking. Thanks Tig...you need the calories more than I do! heehee!

Eddy Update, Happy Healthy, all that good stuff!

I'm working and going to school full time, but Eddy and I are both happy and healthy. Everyone comments on how well-behaved, smart, and mild-mannered he is when they come over or witness how obedient he is on off leash trips. He has mellowed out in terms of his ferocious mischief-causing rebeldom :) We keep up with each other though and are a perfect match, both requiring lots of exercise, water, and sleep.

Louie 3 months!

This month marks the 3 month age of my baby boy Louie! He has made strides and is definitely learning at a fast rate! He knows, sit, stay, lay down, shake and high five. He hasn't "pottied" inside in a few weeks and he is starting to sleep less and less throughout the day. I can't believe my little LouBoo is growing so fast!

Spring is here!

I've been meaning to write but with the weather turning warmer, I've been very busy going on adventures with mom and pops and my sister Maisie.

We've been going for long hikes along the Rio Grande where we get to smell all kinds of new things! We've also been going every week to a place where people sit outside with their dogs and eat food. The nice people who work there give us treats and we get to watch the birds and sometimes nice strangers come up and talk to us.

Rugers first hike

First Teeth Cleaning

At what age did your corgi have his/her first teeth cleaning with the vet? Ein is almost 7 months old and she has build up on her far back teeth. Food for PWC Puppy

Hey all-

My little Johann has quirky eating habits... I honestly think that he has food ADD. When I got him at 8 weeks, he had been eating Purina Puppy Chow dry food with Pedigree canned food for Puppies. I had already bought a bag of Wellness Super 5 Mix for Puppies and a few cans of the Pedigree Puppy canned food so that he would have something familiar to him. He is now 10.5 weeks old and still will not touch his Wellness dry food.
