We got the results back late last night and they were not what we wanted to hear. The mass they removed was cancerous, soft tissue sarcoma. It is an aggressive cancer and will grow back since they were not able to get all of it.

Ruby the Corgi Pup still has a puppy voice, but she believes herself to be fierce. Very fierce. Ein is now home. His breathing is better, but still a little noisy. They said that should abate in a few days once swelling goes down. But he could not wait to get on to the freshly mowed lawn to do his business and then run into the house.

Good morning, everyone, and happy Thursday! 

The weekend is almost upon us and, for my family, it's a special weekend.  Ellie's 3rd birthday is on Saturday!  We don't have anything particularly special planned, but I hope to continue my tradition of making a special treat for her and Yuki to enjoy.  She certainly has no idea why she receives these treats, of course, but that doesn't stop her from bolting them down as fast as she can every year!
