Squeaky Heaven

Yumi is now the proud owner of a squeaky toy shaped like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup pack (got pics up of her with it ^^)! She absolutely ADORES her squeaky and will come running no matter where she is if I pick it up and squeak it. So cute!!! I think I might have to go buy 2 or 3 more like it to keep hidden somewhere just in case something happens to this one, she's become VERY attatched for only having it 2 days. Great doggy recipes!!

I was just browsing on the Everyday with Rachael Ray website trying to come up with dinner ideas when I saw that she has a ton of doggy friendly recipes!! All sorts of foods for your puppy! She even has a recipe for puppy cupcakes which I am going to be making for Chesneys birthday party in November...lol.

Dooley -- 30 Days Are Up!

Today is the 30th day for fostering Dooley and I feel a heavy weight on my chest. I hadn't heard anything from the rescue group in Wichita, Kansas, since the 22nd of August -- until 3 days ago. Actually, by that time I was hoping they had forgotten all about Dooley!

I also heard from another rescue/adoption group in Texas inquiring about both Frankie and Dooley on the same day.

Hi all, I posted a few new pictures of Jovie Grace...she's 4 months old now and growing like a weed. She has started puppy training classes, she plays with her class mate while Bill and I listen( somethings not right with this picture!!!) We are getting ready to attend NC Corgi Picnic 2009 in October...can't wait. Painted Corgi Slate for your home or garden

I ran into an artist at an art show a month or so ago and she had these wonderful slates painted with all sorts of birds and dogs. Unfortunately, she didn't have any corgis! Happy 1st Birthday Finnigan!

Barking Corgi

Has anyone had any trouble with their corgi barking at them when they are leaving their home?

We have also had problems with her barking at us when we are about to take a shower. It has even gone as far as her ripping clothes off our body?

Lizzie's visit to Walmart!

We usually go to West Orange Dog Park on Sunday mornings with our good buddy Vader and his mom Susan. Well on the way to the dog park this week, we stopped at Wal-Mart to drop off a friend, some how as my friend got out and Susan moved from the back seat to the front seat, Lizzie slipped her collar and ran out of the car and into Wal-Mart. Ginny at the Apple Orchard!

Fall is in the air, so yesterday we took at trek down to an apple farm down in southern Colorado. My little baby is growing up...

Harley is growing up so fast!! He is a little bit over 4 months old. When we brought him home at 11 weeks, he weighed 8 lbs, and he now almost 12 lbs. I wish I would have measured his length, but it's obvious he is getting longer. He can now jump through the doggy door without assistance. We are still having house breaking issues, but I know we can't expect him to be reliable this young. He has occasional accidents, and he is slowly learning that he needs to tell us when he wants to go… Continue
