Today is Bento's 7 month birthday

Time really goes by quickly. Seven months ago, Bento was born on May 2, 2011. In celebration of his birthday, he's heading off to the local SPCA for his "fixing." Poor little guy. Mommy loves you and am really sorry about the timing of the event. Unfortunately, the SPCA only schedules these surgeries on certain days.

There will be a lovely treat waiting for you when you get home! Assuming you feel like eating it.

Molly & Life at Rose Cottage

This my 7th day at my new home, Rose Cottage. It's different than being with my family in northern Minnesota and I miss snoozing with Mum & my sisters and brother but Linda Mum and Doug Daddy are my wonderful new parents and now I have Lily as a sister though she is usually cross with me when I try to get her to play. Linda Mum tells her, quite often that, someday, we will be best friends -- perhaps when I am a little older and learn my p-s and q-s.

Pup Update!

Dexter has been doing great! He finally got to meet my parents a couple of weeks ago when they came down to visit. They aren't dog people, but they immediately fell in love with him. After all, what's not to love?

Dexter has been doing great as far as training. He was completely potty trained after 5 months. He chewed his first pair of Nine West pumps a month ago, but it wasn't his fault. I left him alone in the "center room" - a room we gate off for him to chill in while we are gone… Continue

Got our 7 week pictures today

Ein turned 7 weeks old yesterday, and our breeder sent us some photos today. Every week, she gets more and more adorable. Her ears are standing up now, and she's starting to turn a lovely orange color. We still have 16 days until she comes to live with us, and I don't know if I can wait that long!
