I wanted to thank everyone on MyCorgi who pitched in to help me in my time of need to get Ziggy safely here, (and a thanks to Jen and the FB Corgi Nation to helping me keep him fed and healthy) in NH with me, when the only other option was the depressing one of leaving him behind with another new family.

Today is Ziggy's fifth birthday! Unfortunately, I don't get to give him something fantastic, so he's getting lotsa treats (Cheerios, apple chunks) throughout the day, and lotsa scratches and…

Ziggy is home:D

Unfortunately, there wasn't video time, and Ziggy didn't get all crazy happy jump aroundy, but I am happy:) You can tell he did miss me, and I missed him more than crazy, so being back together is awesome:D

We got to the airport only ten minutes early, and wound up waiting an hour.. I was starting to have a heart attack telling myself how the plane must really have spontaneously combusted!

Of course, when they actually wheeled Ziggy in, that just made it…

Tomorrow I get to see my Ziggy again!:) It's been seven days, and I am going more than a little nuts with missing him! I was more upset to leave him behind than anything else in OR, even though it was only for a little more than a week.  I was upset that I couldn't tell him we were going to be coming back for him, more than anything. Really didn't want him to be upset or sad, of course, it happened, and he wound up whining so much the first night that even though my grandma had tried to keep…

So this past eighth was the third month mark of Ziggy living with us, (and the hubbs and I two year anniversary since we first decided on being a couple,) but it was also, of course, the day that Skittles passed away.

I didn't get to make Ziggy any spaghetti, like I have the past couple times. We didn't have all of the ingredients, and honestly, I was too much of a mess to deal with making the spaghetti if we did.

Today, I tried to make up for it, at least a bit, in a way and…

Normally, I don't really note holidays, it's just not my thing.

But today is special:) Today it is officially two months that Ziggy has been living with us. Tonight, he gets peanut butter smothered apple for a treat;D

Would give him a small plate of spaghetti again (oh how he loved that last month) but we forgot to grab the sauce packets when we went shopping, darn nabbit! I'll make up for it when we get to the store next, though I do feel bad about not having it…

Well, it finally happened:D I am now an official momma to a FRAP Corgi! I was in the restroom and I hear Ziggy getting off of our bed (don't worry, it's so low to the ground that I doubt he could hurt himself if he tried) and then click, click, click, of his nails, walking into the living room.. Pause..... Click, click, click to the kitchen (I assume.. It's the only way his clicking could have gotten quieter with how our apartment is set up) Click, click, click…

Well, yesterday was kind of eventful-as far as Ziggy is concerned, anyhow.

The night before last, it started snowing before I got to take Ziggy out for his walk. I wanted to take him then, but after taking him potty in the snow, it was clear he wasn't digging the cold, he wanted to go back home. So we skipped then, but I made up for it yesterday with a walk that more than doubled our usual stroll. By far. Usually, we only walk through the park near my apartments and roundabout back to…
