Backcountry hiking with corgis -- some things I've learned.

chillybuddy cooling vest    keep in plastic bag, so you can add water to wet it (crtitical; much of the cooling is evaporative).  They wilt in sun above treeline and this thing really does help.  Size Medium with a Small girth strap.

First entry_Intro to the SHWA family.

So I have Noodle (he's a pembroke welsh corgi) for a while now. But I was too lazy to join mycorgi.com. But now I decided to make a little blog for them.

We got him on April 6, 2010 when he was barely 3 months. He was cute and adorable. I taught him many tricks and he was an amazing dog. He helps my husband's old Aussie mix become more active (she is 13 now). That's the good thing.

Pupsters Camping Trip

So I decided to take my Pupsters for their first camping trip. Little did I know how much fun it would be. A girl I work with asked if I wanted to accompany her and her family for an outting in Sequoia National Park. Now how could I resist such a temptation. . .lol
