Hi everyone,
So, my corgi is 1 year old now and I live with my parents and while I'm at work my mom always gives my corgi walks in the morning.
But for the past month my mom says my dog refuses to go out for a walk with her! Like he just sits and my mom drags him, then my mom sighs and says okay lets go home, and then he gets up and walks back to the house.
But whenever I take him out for walks he WALKS!
I honestly would prefer my mom giving him…

My corgi and I went to the beach yesterday. I guess he ingested a lot more sand then I realized! So he started throwing up last night. I decided to not feed him and just give him water to hydrate. The next morning it was a mess full of throw up and poo (basically brown liquid and sand).
I might just see how he is for one more day and call the vet tomorrow. But I'm worried if it is more serious? Has this happened to anyone before?
I was planning to just hydrate him and not give…

A few years ago I had some insane back issues and one of the things my doctor recommended was a zero gravity chair. I shopped around and found "The Perfect Chair" - I cringed at the price $1200 for a CHAIR?!?!?! That's insane!!!
But of course, one more bad night and I ended up back at the "Healthy Back Store" buying the damn thing.
Goldy has since decided that the perfect chair is the perfect place to relax…

Hello everyone,
Here is a pencil portrait I did of my Bartleby. I'm taking commissions if anyone is interested in getting their corgi or another pet done. This one still needs to be cleaned up a little bit. I can do pencil, pen, watercolor, pastels, or digital painting. Let me know if you're interested by replying or posting on my…

Hi,
I have a corgi puppy that is about to turn a year old and he is also my first dog.
I'm thinking about getting pet health insurance for him but am not sure how to start or which one to take. Since when I googled it there were so many options I got a little overwhelmed.
Plus, I have been told my some that it is not necessary for pet insurance until they are much older, but am not really sure what to do here.
Anyone have advice for me please?

Just a reminder to keep our furry friends safe:)
Common Picnic Poisons
Lastly, for you picnickers, make sure to keep common household picnic items out of reach when with your pets. Every day the Pet Poison Helpline receives many calls about pets getting into people food, some of which can be remarkably harmful.

I cannot stand for my dogs to have eye boogers, it seriously drives me crazy!
Today, I'm getting some eye boogers off of Bear and of course I poke him right in the eye.
Here's to tonight's prayers that I didn't do any damage. :(
He seems fine right now, but I'll feel better once I check him in the morning and see nothing.
Usually they clean them off of each other, which I greatly appreciate, but Goldy seems to have been…

Hi everyone!
I just set up my 9-10 month corgi up for a special surgery cause he has crytorchidism to get fixed on Monday, April 25th.
I'm extremely nervous, since I was told it was more of an exploratory surgery to find his one testicle. Since they don't exactly know which area of his body it'll be in.
Can anyone help ease my anxiety? Is it a safe surgery? Do you know if my corgi will feel okay after the surgery? Is there any advise I should…

We had three cats when we brought Cici home as a pup. We had an older female and two young males. They all had completely different personalities, but one policy for new things: swat* first ask questions later. Eventually they warmed up to her in their own ways.…

Just something for fun ;-)
I'm not a big sports fan but when I saw this, I couldn't resist and wanted to spread the word.
Corgis are in a match up against Pugs. Let's make sure Corgis make it to the final four!!

I swear, in the 4 years we've owned Lola, I've seen maybe 3 Corgis in my town. In the past 2 weeks, I've seen 4! And 3 of them were in the last 2 days!! Not that I'm complaining... who doesn't love a dog that can double as a walking Twinkie???
I think our Governor might have something to do with it... Sutter the Corgi. Looks like he's using his…

A picture says a thousand words. Since many of us do not speak/read Japanese I wanted to start a post where we could all post pictures of support to those in Japan. Since the tragedy in Japan struck we have all been bombarded with horrific images of sadness and destruction. Many of us brought to tears by the photo of the man being reunited with his dog. We didn't need to read the caption to know what the picture was saying. Let's use that same power, the power of pictures, to send Japan some…

This picture was on The Daily Corgi today and after I recovered from the tears of the image, I was dying to know what it said. Is the dog okay? Were they reunited?
Can someone translate the text?

Do you find it hard when your corgi passes away? Well think about this for a minute.
When I was little I had a corgi named Nosey, my first dog ever. He was attached to me the most out of my family. Around when he was 4 years old he got sick and we took him to the vet. The first day they said he had a stomache virus, the second day they said he had a disease; Addisons Disease. Transferring him to a vet hospital he died on my lap on the way there, but he was in his sleep…

My 5 month old nephew came to visit today. The dogs did great with him (it was their first meeting with the handsome Truman). Bear thought he was the tastiest thing he has licked in years. Goldy let him grab her fur and try to suck on her nose....but I think by the end of the day Goldy's jealousy kicked in and she figured if she did what the baby did, she'd get all of the attention back...the proof is in the pictures....
