I am hoping someone can help-I have had my 5 yr old girl for not yet 5 months.  She has had 4 eye injuries, the last 3 requiring a cone and pain meds.  The first 3, she saw the vet that's in with my regular vet and was treated for eye punctures from apparently running into things (chasing rabbits)  Her eyes were stained and the vet showed me the injuries.  This last Sunday, she woke up, couldn't get one eye open and the other barely, so ended up at the emergency clinic, which is fairly new…

Well 2 weeks ago the whites of Autumns eyes were showing at the top of her eyes and she was a little bit "off". Not normal Autumn/corgi off but "off". Just not herself. I took her to the vet they did tons of testing and nothing really showed up. Last Tuesday Autumn was in visible pain. Backing up in circles panting and gaurding herself not wanting to be touched. I cannot stand for my dogs to have eye boogers, it seriously drives me crazy!

 

Today, I'm getting some eye boogers off of Bear and of course I poke him right in the eye.

 

Here's to tonight's prayers that I didn't do any damage. :(  

 

He seems fine right now, but I'll feel better once I check him in the morning and see nothing.

Note to self: Brian= 20.5lbs @ 7 months and 1 week.



My Brian has had eye discharge and was somewhat squinting with his left eye for 3 days. The squinting would come and go. Bf said that he's fine, just give it time. So I reluctantly gave it time. But today, when I woke up, I found his left eye to be discharge-y and cloudy. I panicked, afraid that he was going blind in one eye!

I think I poked it by accident. He and his brother, Cooper were on the bed going at it as usual and I grabbed to move them apart and the next thing Radar had his eye half shut. I had to leave to go to work and when I returned he had it shut. I tried to put a warm wash cloth over it but he won't stay still. I guess a vet trip is on the agenda for tomorrow. Has anyone had this happen before?
