Ruby Cool!

Ruby and Cassie are SO much better! Now that I've recovered from the most recent (rather annoying) surgery and my son has repatriated the puppy, the worrisome behavioral issues have pretty much resolved.

Advice Solicited: Corgi Rivalry, Corgi Future

A serious issue has arisen -- actually, two serious issues merging into one -- and I'm seeking advice on how to deal with it/them. If Ruby the Corgi Pup (about 9 months old now) is to keep her home here at the Funny Farm, I'm going to have to find a way to cope with this stuff. If not, Ruby is going to have to find a new home.

Oh you silly girl!

I haven't updated in a while but I just couldn't stop giggling at this one.

Took Roxi to figure out what exactly she was allergic to (finally) and a REALLY expensive trip later, learning she's allergic to pretty much the world + cotton! I had the funniest drunk acting dog stumbling to the car.

A few weeks ago I had the same thing from Charlie after getting his teeth cleaned + fatty lump removed.

I can't help but find it so hilarious when they leave like that. Cute… Continue

Just a we are alive and well post :)

As I sit here I'm about to go into my final week of school and Thur will dive into a mind numbing creation of my portfolio website for graphic/web design.. phew.. So I realized how I will be ignoring my poor babies and remembered that I haven't posted on here in a while lol. The barking dog

Roxi has always been the quiet one *knocks on wood* so when we got Charlie we were not ready/used to a talker/barker to that magnitude.

I've had friends mention that we should use a shock collar on him and while I know shockers can be useful in their own right.. I wasn't ready to take it to that extreme. Hachi got spayed / desexed / fixed /... had a HYSTERECTAMY (...can't spell i know!)

I finally got hachi desexed and microchipped last thursday! she's about 9 months old.. (a bit late i know)

she already had 1 period when she was around 6-7 months old, and lately it lookde like she was about to

go into heat again! so quickly went to the vet and got it done. =) everything was fine .. she was soooo

I survived my first camping trip!

Thursday morning mom started packing some of my stuff. I started getting worried that we were moving again since we've done it a few times already in the last year so I huddled against her and pouted till she petted me and reassured me. The vest makes the difference!

So today we had a very fun time! Grandma and Grandpa moved back from Germany into their old house and mom brought me over to play with cousin Apex and go to the lake!

The big move

So two weeks ago daddy started acting funny in our little apartment. One afternoon he brought in a bunch of boxes that smelled like eats and other interesting things! I thought they were toys and jumped through them sniffing and playing making daddy laugh.

The visit ramble

Well they came and they left... Roxi's first visit to the grand ol' Washington DC.. She seemed to enjoy it and I'm happy since we'll be here for a little while :).

The first couple minutes they were here, she met her first other corgi besides her siblings when we first got her.. A little ball of fluff the neighbors picked up since they lost their other corgi and its sibling is about to pass away as well..
