I knew something was amiss when two corgis greeted me at the door when I got home for lunch. Where in the world was Tristan? As I walked in the door, I heard it - an unmistakable rustling sound. I pushed open the laundry room door and there he was, head buried deep in the dog food bag, gobbling food as fast as he could. I dragged him out of the bag and brought him out with the other two to survey the "damage". Pooh-Bert looked pregnant. I mean this boy looked like he'd swallowed not one but two…

Just a cute post to fuel everyone through the day! :) The images have probably long since made their rounds on the 'net, but I felt they were cute enough to repost (even if it's for the thousandth time!) Hope they give at least a few of you a chuckle and help to brighten your Wednesday. The weekend is coming!…

We got our little Yumi back in August. She was extremely shy and wasn't too sure about us or her new home. Now, 5 months later, you wouldn't know that she was the same dog! Yumi is so bouncy it is unreal, lol. Whether it's time to eat, time to potty, or I just get up to go to the next room she is right there bouncing and spinning and just being a happy pup! She's still a bit shy around people she doesn't know, but a tummy scratch fixes that and she's instantly your best friend. She is a MAJOR…

This Christmas, Sherlock made out like a bandit! Under the christmas tree, there were three presents for him, and very good ones too! He got two very fuzzy and soft squeaky toys, and huge rawhide bone and doggy candy canes, that he recieved each day for 12 days before christmas! Sherlock really likes his new polar bear plush and loves chewing on the rawhide he got that he hasnt even finished yet! What a great christmas!

Well, I have been searching Petfinder.com for an adult male corgi for a while now, and last week I found one that sounded perfect. Well, we went to my parent's house for the weekend and we were going to visit the shelter while we were there since it was closer to their house than to ours. Once we got to my parent's house, I was so excited to show my mom the picture on Petfinder, so I opened up the internet, but I was very upset to find that he had just been adopted that day.
I have…

So Faye is almost 14 weeks and is the light of my life. When I get home she has a big smile waiting for me and tons of corgi kisses. I don't want to personify her too much but it makes me wonder... does that smile mean she's... happy? Do dogs feel emotions like happy and sad? I can't imagine that it's the same for them as it is for us but at the same time... it's a smile! Just something to wonder I guess.
