Sunday July 8th, one week ago today, I decided to Google any upcoming corgi litters in the area. I found a litter born June 16th with a couple male pups available. I sent the woman an email and within the hour had multiple pictures of the male my boyfriend and I liked best. For those of you who have followed my Daisy with her struggles of in and out of the Doggie Hospital. Yesterday she came home just after 11:00 a.m. and by 2:45 she couldn't stand up by herself. I called the Vet and told her I was bringing her back and she said OK she would get a room ready for her. I am an artist. My husband had gotten a job that allowed for me to quit my job (which to be honest paid next to nothing by living standards) and pursue my art. Today he was laid off. So yesterday (3/17) was a very sad day for us. It was time to say goodbye to our beloved Cobi. Cobi would have been 12 on June 17th this year. We will miss him terribly. He was always such a trooper and such a tough little guy, dealing with epilepsy for about 9 years and then recently degenerative disk disease which took the use of his back legs from him, but he plugged along with the use of a wheeled cart for outside and scooting wherever he needed to go inside.
