To Keep Him a Stud or to Not Keep Him a Stud...

That is the question!

My male Corgi, at 8 months old, is already acting pretty stud-like. I eventually wanted to get a puppy out of him so I have one of his offspring. BUT he has a tendency to mark his territory... in the house too. And when around some female dogs he gets all giddy and excited. He listens well, and is such a love bug but...

Should I just go ahead and do myself a favor and get him neutered?

today, kirby got nutered......

so today was the big day!!!!! kirby was fixed!!! so far he is doing well, i bought him a new toy, some rawhide chews, two bags of green beans and i made him a home made bland diet dinner!!! out of all this i only want one thing: no marking in the house!!!!!! his marks whether we are around or not. and it is getting frustrating.... does anyone know if nutering him will help curb this habit?? btw, he is turning 1 year old on may 4th!!!!

Peed in the Bedroom Again

This is actually funny. In 3 months of owning this little devil it was THE FIRST time ever I caught him in action.

We have this mirror in the bedroom that has to go on the wall, but we never have time to do it. Shiro was playing with it a couple times, trying to figure out where's that dog. Training and Neutering!

So far we're on Week Three of PetSmart training - so far so good. Roscoe has sit down pat (when he wants to, that is) and has responded really well to "Leave it" and "Drop It." We're having serious issues with down, which the trainer said that pups with shorter legs sometimes do. He won't go down, he just raises up his back end or stands up.
