Short Front Nails

We were alerted by the vet at our first visit with LeeLoo that she wears her front nails down much lower than her back.  We basically have never cut her front-most nails on her feet while we have to cut her rear ones every few weeks.  This past weekend, she began bleeding through a cracked nail on one of the short nails.  Has anyone else encountered this?  She has worn this poor nail down to the quick. 

We notice when she runs, she does apply a lot of pressure when her feet come down…

Skeezix Wants to Know: What Kinda Dog My Momma Iz?

You'll prob'bly remember that I talked about me an George Clooney in a pwevious posting, in which I analyzed how on earth a quiz could match the perfect 10 ME with a hooman who only has an Oscar to boast of. Now, Momma haz gone an dones it again, but this time it's for her an not me . . . thank goodness.

Hot new dog trend?

Oh retractable lead, you were supposed to be so amazing. I had dreams of regulating dog-to-master distance ratios on the fly in real time. You were supposed to be multi-purpose, allowing my pup the freedom of movement and the restriction of a short-lead in one sleek glossy package.
