So last night at about 1am my husband and I took our rabbit, Gregory to the animal hospital because we were worried about him given that he hadn't eaten any of his hay or veggies. We even gave him a strawberry (his favorite) and he refused it. He had been this way for several hours and his temperature was off as well. Having lost our other Corgi last December we are still a bit gun shy when it comes to our pets health. So, if for no other reason than to calm our nerves we went to the…Continue
and then, and then, after FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER OF WAITING, we finally picked up machete! and he was perfect and snuggly and adorable and awesome. we spent some time with anne learning about his feeding habits, his…Continue

I must say, I thought I would have made this sooner, but new dogs really do make you wonder "where did all my time go?"
Brian and I brought Lola (formerly known as Sweet Pea to the lovely ladies at the Blue Moon Sanctuary in Camdenton, MO) home from her foster family on Friday last week. It was wonderful to get…Continue
so we finally, FINALLY heard from our breeder (YAY!) and not only are there a litter of puppies RIGHT NOW!! but she has another dog in season and that could potentially mean another litter available in november. so either in 11 weeks or 6-ish months we could be bringing home our very own corgi love!!!
I CANNOT EVEN BEGIN TO CONTAIN MYSELF IN THE…Continue
We brought our pembroke home 10 days ago. He's 12 weeks old. I actually was hoping to get some insight from you all on our new pup. We have spoken to our breeder about this but I wanted to get your well informed take as well. His temperament test showed he was laid back, friendly, confident, very affectionate, and somewhat lazy. In the week we've had him, he's proving to be the almost the complete opposite of what the temperament test said he was (besides the lazy part, he is pretty lazy…Continue
I was going to wait until I picked up Baby Mavvy to post more pictures, but I got more from the breeder and just had to share.
Less than 3 Weeks…Continue
I saw this on Twitter & thought I would share in case anyone could help!
First off, I want to thank everyone for their support and advice, it really helped to know that everyone went through the same thing. this is another long one but i hope you read it because i could still use some support! Ravioli did better yesterday after my first post and he seems like he's opening up to us a little bit. he seems to be eating normally now whenever i give him food and isn't as mopey--he seems to explore more when we're just sitting on the couch instead of laying around like…Continue
let me first preface this by saying that this post will be long, but i ask that you please read because i really need some support from the community. please!!!
Ravioli came home saturday evening, and he seemed pretty ok with us (my boyfriend and i). we brought him back to the apartment and he explored a lot. the breeder said he hadn't used the bathroom all day (which was from before 9am to 630pm when we got him). we took him out a couple times that night and he still never went to…Continue
We adopted a rescue several months back. Things have been going really well. The only issued we have now, is Bud eating too fast.
He scarfs his food so quickly that he regularly begins to choke. He often won’t wait to stop chocking before he resume eating. ARG!
I began researching slow down bowls. Most of the reviews said that they worked great until the dog figured out how to tip the bowl and dump out the food.
I began to think of alternatives. At first I…Continue
With Kahlan being 4 months I thought that it was about time she checked out the dog park. So we picked up Aspen my 'pocket' Siberian Husky and headed over. I was sort of nervous about her meeting other dogs but Aspen loves everyone. And of course Aspen dove in sniffing and getting to know her new sister. To my surprise Kahlan was not shy and all over Aspen. I wish I snapped a shot of it but it was so funny and cute. Aspen was in the back seat and Kahlan in the front seat facing backwards…Continue
Hi fellow Corgi lovers :-)
I completely forgot my log in information for Charlies page and have been dying to post a whole bunch of new things!
The past week I've been working on a dress for my little love for her Birthday next month. She'll be turning 4... oh how fast time flies....
I haven't sewn anything in over a decade and when I purchased a new sewing machine I was eager to try it out and see what I could make. As finding outfits for Charlie…Continue
Hey! I just recently moved to NYC and was curious if there are any clubs, groups, and/or events about Corgis in NYC. As you might see from my profile pic, I have an adorable Pembroke name Colonel. He's still under a year old, but I dedicate almost all my spare time to training, socializing and just plain spending time with him :) So can anyone help me out? thanks!
We got a new member of the family today!
Meet Andrew Jackson!
Didi is ambivalent to the new puppy. Reagan is enamored with it but I have to watch him because sometimes when they play he gets too excited and I have to stop the play session so he doesn't get too over…Continue
So a couple weeks ago a member on these forums (Cheryl Lyons) post pics of her newly fostered pembroke that had 5 puppies. I contacted Cheryl after seeing the photos about adopting one of these cute little pups.
This past weekend my husband and I made the 6 hour trip to pick out our new puppy! :D
There are still 2 pups available, if you are looking to adopt near the holidays!…Continue
Has anybody experienced a whining corgi in the middle of the night? I couldn't sleep and was wondering if there were any solutions you guys might have. It seems that he wanted the mice under the floorboards. I've tried telling him to stop, to sleep, and to let him sniff the spot. Any suggestions?
Also I've created a group called new york city corgis. check it out if you live in the area.
