Well, our little Scout is coming home in 29 days!!! So I finally bought all the puppy items I had sitting around on my Amazon wishlist.

I want to start off by saying what a wonderful wealth of information this little site is! My boyfriend and I will be getting our first dog ever this July! She'll be a little 10-week old Pembroke red and white girl. We are beyond excited.

I've already been pouring over as much information as possible, hoping to train our puppy into a sweet polite little lady. I've grown up with misbehaving, yappy miniature schnauzers my whole life... so I'm looking forward to doing things right…

In other news, Saber seems to really have fetch reliably down, knows sit, lay down, ding the service desk bell to go outside, and stand up and touch my hand. I'm getting sooo excited! Only three more days until I can bring Nadia home with me!

My boyfriend and I are driving there (it's 5 hours away) Saturday morning, then we're staying the night at a hotel and driving back with Nadia Sunday night. The breeder is at the Cargigan Nationals this week, so she won't be home until Sunday evening. I just couldn't wait another week, though!

Carrie and I brought Orion home a month ago and it's been amazing! He's such an incredible pup with the best temperament. He's definitely growing in to his personality; playful, strong willed, smart, curious and we love it.

i've called 7 of them this morning. i left messages for 5 of them and spoke to one who had a receptionist who said they weren't planning on breeding any time soon. i also spoke to a breeder's crotchety husband. the conversation went like this:

"NO she's NOT here she's at a dog show in fort worth. she comes back monday."

thanks to a wonderful member here at mycorgi, i got a lead on a breeder in tennessee (6 hours away) who is selling red and white pems for $350-400 (much cheaper than the $1500 i was told yesterday from another breeder!) it was apparently an ad in the newspaper, so there's not much info that i know except that both parents are akc registered and so are the pups. i'm going to call today and get more info and hopefully this will be the one! the ad says the puppies will be ready in april. the…
