Dexter's First Road Trip

Dexter's first long trip in the car! We are going to my parent's house in upstate NY tomorrow morning with Dexter, and I have a huge list of supplies to get and pack. I think he will do fine. He loves riding in the car, and he normally sleeps in the back seat when he is tired out from swimming or running at the park. I figure leaving 2 am will be nice. My Puppy is a Smooth Talker

Honestly, Skyler wishes he belonged to a single man. You know how dogs have instinct? Instinct to not want to potty where they sleep or getting to know other dogs by sniffing them. Well Sky's instinct is to flirt with all the hot ladies. Did you know Corgis could flirt??? I didnit until I brought Sky to the dog park.

The big move

So two weeks ago daddy started acting funny in our little apartment. One afternoon he brought in a bunch of boxes that smelled like eats and other interesting things! I thought they were toys and jumped through them sniffing and playing making daddy laugh.

Then for some strange reason he started putting things in these boxes. Mommy only did this when she came to visit and when she was done she would leave us for long periods of time! I was getting worried and over the next few days… Continue

back.

Got back yesterday. Over thirty hours of driving in four days - exhausting. Colorado to California and back again! XP Archie is doing pretty good. Still pulling a bit on the leash and still barking at cars & people. =( Not sure but have a feeling it's going to take a long time to break him of it. Taught him leave it, though. Still needs more practice but pretty awesome that he picked it up after just one session of training. Seems to be testing Greg out with authority but kinda accepting… Continue
