Freya vomited up yellow frothy mixed with blood last night. I'm hoping that the bloody is from the tooth she had just lost 5 minutes ago and vomited because of the blood going to her stomach.



She's not acting odd either way. Though when she works herself up for food or for anything she does have the tendency to vomit and I'm pretty sure that isn't normal.

You know, I really shouldn't do this but having Freya makes me really want to get her a girlie collar. It's been such a hard shop. It's starting into the epic mp3 shopping I started 3 years ago that just ended last Christmas! I'm really looking for the "perfect" collar for her. We went on a whim and mainly cause Freya needs to be socialized with other dogs. We haven't been there since last fall and stopped cause we had problems with an un-neutered Siberian Husky there. Freya has surprised me in the last week. Outside of the incident with my boyfriend, she's been doing fine and I've been dealing with it as it happens. If Cloud instigates when she's in her kennel trying to eat or play with something, I'll lock him outside in the yard--which he doesn't mind cause there's a girl dog next door that he likes. I made fun of my mom when she started to buy her puppy (2 years ago) clothes. If you know my mom, you would too. Karma has come around and I know find myself with the same urges--must dress the Freya Baby! I've resisted it for the last few months (amazingly--and partly due to financial reasons.)

I had an awful bad day. My job gets to me sometimes and the next thing I know I'm crying because I'm so stressed out and freaking out over deadlines and such. I don't have a gym close enough to get this out of me--hence tears.

I was a little worried when I first saw Freya, I thought her eyes were too small. Of course, boyfriend said that I worried too much and that puppies grow in spurts. He was right on all accounts. Her eyes, thankfully kept up with her head.

Well, I was informed by the animal control that there is a special mat that's at the entrance of the shelter filled with disinfectants that kills the parvo virus. So, Freya's diarrhea is from the olive oil. Yay.

I bought Freya when she was 6 and a half weeks old. Being who I am today and when I purchased her, I knew that she was too young. With all of my mom's puppies, I didn't know that was wrong and we got those puppies far younger than 6 weeks.
