Today my sneaky puppy decided to visit me at work. I was of course a willing accomplice. Also the eight people who actually saw her at work after hours were very cool about not saying anything. My office was given a half day in order to go to a morale event which would last till the end of the business day. I stopped by to get lunch and say hello to everybody but I knew I still had more work to do. At the end of the picnic I realized that I didn't really want to take the dog home and it would take too long to take her home and drop her off just for the short amount of work I needed to do so I not so covertly I sneaked her into my office. While I don't think there's actually a policy against dogs in the office I really didn't need to press my luck by having them find her. She brightened the day of everybody she met and just hung out and chewed on her puppy Kong. It made me wish I could bring her to work everyday!

I used to treat chronic  (human) pain patients and the best medicine was the happiness and diversion my corgis would provide on the days I brought them in! :)

We are also working on "bring your dog to work" during our employee appreciation week, along with other events. I'm looking forward to bringing Bogart to work!

How much fun is that!  I got to take Max to work with me once when I worked for the daycare/preschool.  It was bring your pet to work week.  Students (their parents actually) and staff could schedule a time to bring in their pets and tell the class all about them.  I brought Max, he loves kids and had a ball.

I love it!  Who could be mad once they see her adorable corgi face!
