Always carry a ziploc bag of baby wipes with a little extra water added on your walks. That way you can deal with "muddy pants" right away. And wipe UP, not down. I hope that's not too much information :)

<p>Eww, I'm familiar with that situation. Yuki ended up with giardia during the first few months we had him. He had just learned to go potty outside and suddenly we were dealing with diarrhea accidents <em>everywhere</em> in our living room. And, to top it off, he ended up with another illness right after that (can't remember the name) which tends to follow a giardia infection. So that was an additional week of runny poops all over!</p>
