Thank you for the advice, because I never even thought of fleas since at one time we too had a horrible infestistation when we had a chow that t was crazy, I saw those. And just assumed that with Frontline she should be fine and we arent getting bit. I will try changing them back to advantage and spraying outside and see what happens

If it happens to both dogs I am guessing the vet won't be able to help. I would switch flea products for a few months, go from Frontline to Advantix (if you need tick control) or Advantage or Comfortis if you don't need tick control. A few years ago I had a flea infestation from who knows where even though my dogs were on sentinel (flea and heartworm med) AND Frontline. A good way to check to see if it is fleas is give a capstar and lock them on a white surface (like kitchen floor). You will see dead fleas within a half hour if it is a flea problem. If its not a flea problem shaving their legs up to the knee area would probably be a good idea just to see what is going on and that won't affect them too much. Its shaving the areas where there is a double coat that causes the issues with insulation and really screws up the hair growth. In fact if you went to the vet and said they are chewing the paws the first thing the vet would do is probably shave their feet. Good luck and keep us posted!
My dogs were itching a lot an…tag:mycorgi.com,2012-02-07:1150197:Comment:14540572012-02-07T15:25:02.848ZSnickmomhttp://mycorgi.com/profile/Snickmom

My dogs were itching a lot and it seems that we had brought fleas in from the park or somewhere. I read up on them and it takes time to get rid of them. The Frontline kills the flea after it bites the dog, but then another flea jumps on the dog and bites her. You can try spraying the yard for fleas, washing all the bedding, vacuuming really well, (throw the bag out after) then just wait. I would suggest putting her down whenever she starts scratching on your lap. Laps are for cuddling only.…
