Both of our boys lick their paws. Most of the time it is after they have been chewing on a bone. I always thought it was just a relaxing thing for them to do.......or they have been watching the cat to much!

I have alot of experience with this one...and I tried vet wrap but it always manages to fall or be pulled off. I have an Aussie that even the vets office remembers him for this! Armani will take the tiniest scratch and lick it till it becomes huge, when he was neutered his whole belly was total red from licking and I used a collar BUT Armani had an accident a couple weeks ago and had a tiny scratch on his leg...by the next day he was licking this and because of his "history" they gave…

It smells some but has from what I read on the box several herbs/spices that don't taste real good! It worked wonderful! Typically this starts as an allergy but can become a habit. You should contact your vet re assistance in determining if it is an allergy. It is possible that his paws become irritated from something he is walking in out of doors. You could try wiping his paws when you come in to help with that but it usually is a sign of an allergy.
