I love the pictures you posted on the Awkward Sleeper group. You might also like the Honorary Corgi group.

Love the new pictures. The one looking threw the fence is adorable. Ella is growing so cute.  Those eyes look right at you. Bet she is giving you lots of fun days.

Thanks! Ella is adorable, too! She and my Lucy were born only 11 days apart.

thanks! i got soo lucky with him. i was originally supposed to get his brother bc finnick had/has some slight health concerns, but after visiting the litter it was clear he was the cutest and smartest one. ive been around lots of breeds, but corgis are truly one of a kind, and really amazing dogs! they are incredibly smart and fast learning. only other breed ive been around thats as smart is german shepard.

Hi Cindy, It is nice to see someone else from Michigan and owning a German Shepherd ain't bad either :-)

Kipper loves the water. He also loves his life vest, when he has it on he will jump into the pool, without it he runs to the stairs and slowly gets in. It's the only thing I put on him that he'll actually move in. Took him about a week to get used to it. I also had to teach him how to use a pool. =]

Anytime I see a pic that involves bags, I feel the need to say something.  I was kind of hesitant to send it but it never hurts to say something and be cautious.  I figured you were right there by her.  I hear you about wanting to get the pics, as you can tell from my page full of pictures, I have a hard time putting down the camera, lol.  Looking forward to more pics of your dogs and maybe some video too!!

Hello and Welcome!!!  Your pup is adorable!!  Please be careful with plastic bags/snack bags, they can be a hazard.  One of our members not too long ago lost their corgi to a snack bag, got its head caught in it and couldn't get it off, corgis legs are too short to reach.  :(   I've been on this site for about four years now and I have heard more than one corgi dying from getting stuck in a snack bag.   :(

Our Pem Lucy was about 4 when we rescued Ricky-Rafa, possibly the most rambunctious and difficult Corgi in my 40+ years of owning Corgis. It's had a very happy result, but the first year was touch & go. Either my husband was leaving or R/R. Happily they both stayed!

Welcome. Lots of GSD owners eventually get into Corgis. Lots of similarities in spite of the different size, etc. Let us know what you think about adding a Corgi to the mix and how it's going. I suspect it will go very well. Happy new year!
