Lisa, Randy now weighs 36 lb. and is too big to pick up easily. But he had big feet as a baby so I expected it. He does get up in my lap or sits with me but I don't try to pick him up but the loves the hubs also so we do get them in just in a different way. I wish I could still carry him around.
Were did you get you Pem from and who is the breeder? That would tell me if it came from mine or not. Cardigans come in more colors then the Pembrokes. There are black and white, black and brindle, black and tan, blue merles with tan or brindle points, brindles from red to black, sables, and red and whites. It is quite fascinating!
Hi Lisa, thank you for your message, i think i know what you mean now. It is a little tricky with forum threads, because some member reply to what other member already responded, that's why it is displayed in a chronological order. However, if you want to know the latest reply on the topic, click on "latest reply", it'll take you to the latest comment.
Chronological orders also allow the repliers to check out what's been said already and not repeat the same information. May be you have a better suggestion? Let me know :)
Lisa, we won't be having puppies until Feb/March of 2011! Just spayed my one female and the pup has too be 2 years old be breed...one more year to go!
Joan
The puppies were born very, very small. We lost a few the first 24 hours. We were bottle feeding them every 2 hours, but it just didn't work. The last one passed away 2 weeks later (thought it might just make it) but no. We have one puppy that made it and he is very healthy. He was 2X the size of all the other pups!
You aren't going to believe this, but our LoLo was also born September of 2008!! WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR'S? we met the breeder in Oklahoma, but I need to look at her papers to see where she was born. Too funny! LoLo weighs about 7 lbs right now. she is super active and doesn't eat very much, too worried she will miss out on playing with our other outside dogs!!
