Hey Tina, So do you have two dogs now or three?? I thought that you got that 2 year old girl but now I have read that you have a new boy named Ed. Congrats either way, and I'm jealous as I wish I could get more : ) So when would you have time to get to gether at the park next?
Tina, I hope all is going wel with the extended family. Are Ed and Ein getting along well? How is feeding time going? It is always a little awkward at first when you bring someone new into the home. just like little kids they are going to test their limits and find where they belong. We have to adjust as well. Sounds like your little Ed is full of vinegar! It is always a challenge with two young dogs, but be patient. I have more than one that can be food aggressive, but now we have feeding time down to an art. Everyone knows where there bowl will be placed and no fights over food in a long time. It was a challenge at first. Lizzie They all have to check out each others bowls after they finish...just in case there is a little something left! All the best.
It isn't by a chance a 4 month old male that is currently in blaine? He is up to date on all of his shots and super sweet and cute. The current owners are getting rid of him because the little guy is afraid of their two big Rotwielwers (mispelled) and they want him to be happy so they are trying to find him a new home. He is great with kids and other dogs. He is posted on Craigslist : )
It was nice meeting you and Ein today! I am sorry that Brownie wouldn't stop humping Ein. Jeez - no manners! haha
Midgee and Brownie will sleep well tonight, I'm sure.
Hope to see you again sometime. Have a good weekend : )
Hey Tina and Ein! Are you going to be able to make it out to the Burnsville dog park this saturday to meet with the rest of the MN corgi group? We are going to be there from 2-4. I know that there will be at least 7 corgis out there : )
Oh Man!! : ( The poor little guy! He looked like he was having and probably did have a ton of fun too. I hope he's okay and his leg heals with no additional problems. No day care, no dog park, no long walks. . . . how will he survive? And yes how will you survive? Hopefully he doesn't drive you to nuts will wanting to play all the time for the next 10 days.
Hey Tina, I thought I saw you on the Corgi Guile site! Are you going this weekend? I don't have a permit but Hunter and I are going anyway. I've heard that they don't check for permits.
Hi Tina, Ein, and Husband (sorry I forgot his name)! Thanks for letting me know that you were going to be out there so that we could get together like that. Hunter and I had a ton of fun and he was very tired leaving the dog park (for like the first time). He played hard! Hopefully Ein will like the water now and if not, well then he won't get so dirty and that is a plus : ) We will have to get together again sometime!
Hey! it was great meeting you guys at the dog park today, hopefully next time Mikko will be a bit more "social" with the other corgis. :) Hope we can all meet up again soon, thanks again!
Well we took Ein to the dog park last Saturday and he did very well. He played with the other dogs (even the big ones). He accidentally fell in the water and wasn't too happy about that, but he had a great time. He was such a tired puppy! Now we have to wait a bit because Ein just got neutered Thursday and they say to keep the area clean for 14 days. Ein was very dirty after the dog park, so we have to wait a bit.
hi what a cutie. My partner jaxi and I have the two tri-colored. We got Cagney from a rescue 6 weeks ago. We added another, Chapin 3 weeks ago. I had a corgi for 8 years that died of kidney failure in March. I have always loved corgis. They are super smart and easy to train. We are members of a Corgi Club in Minneapolis. We meet once a month to socialize the dogs. It is pretty cool!
I am thinking about taking him to a dog park soon, and it seems like alimagenet might be our best option. I don't know for sure yet how he might react to all that, I'm hoping I can talk my husband into going with me tomorrow morning, sometime when it isn't a peak time for dogs. I would love to get together some weekend out there, letme know.
Hey Tina, do you and Ein ever go to the alimagnet dog park in Burnsville? If you were interested in getting together for a corgi play date I am trying to get one going for those of us that live so close to it. Let me know if you are interested.
What a beautiful boy! Sounds like Ein and Molly are about the same age. He'll get the walking thing down pat before you know it and then he'll be taking you for walks.

I wasn't able to attend last week's gathering, so I'm trying to set up another meet and greet.

Ein is a cutie!
I do want Ein to socialize more though, I'll keep looking for other ways.
Puppy classes are great! You'll both learn a lot.
Molly is our first dog too.
