Leo's page is private but I sent a friend request with a message. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Quincy...we must track him down...LOL...yes, I think Parker does think having a tail is too weird! : )
Parker is thrilled. Finally someone other than
Penelope to call family. Penelope and Parker
share a grandfather. I have tried to reach out
to Leo's owner. No response but I will try again.

Good to see Bailey back on mycorgi.com! We are back home now and P & P can't stop talking about the fun they had with Bailey. Its so cute that they recognize his name now. We took them to Fort Funston on Monday and they immediately remember it and start walking to the bench where they meet Bailey. LOL...we might come back up before Christmas...and hopefully Bailey is available for another family reunion.
We had never heard of this until Lance was diagnosed with it, we are learning as we go. Right now he is on steroids, which can be a double edge sword, but we just need to keep an eye on him. He actually needs to gain weight, per vet instructions, now that he is on steriods, that wont be an issue, as they make you gain weight. I am looking forward to the day that Lance is ready to play with Tucker again, not much energy right now, although he does look forward to walks, although in the heat we cant take him out because of the meds. Have to wait for some cooler days.
I was really surprised to find a corgi so close to us in a shelter!!! I have recently seen a lot of ads of corgis in shelters in various states though, so sad. :( If they aren't very common, then why are their so many showing up in shelters.
Before we got Tucker we thought about adding a brindle, but decided against a puppy. I just hope Tucker is a healthy dog. We went back and forth for a long time and decided not to add a second and along come Tucker, and stole our hearts. Guess what we now have a second dog, lol. Must have been meant to be for one reason or another.
Glad Uncle had a talk to keep the site updated...hehe :) Yes, Tucker is new!!! It will be 4 months that we have rescued Tucker, on July 6th!!! He really is a sweet corgi and so calm. Has fit in well, yay!! Tucker is estimated to be 3 1/2! Lance is 5 1/2 and will be 6 in July!! I have been on this site half of his life come October!! We just recently found out this past week that Lance has auto immune issues. :( Hoping that we can keep this under control and doesn't go haywire. Tucker joined your group Red and White Corgis. :) I took him to get gromed (mistake), I think, he just doesnt seem to look the same to me. Oh well, thats minor compared to what we are dealing with now. Glad to see you are going to keep mycorgi updated. Was wondering where you have been :)
hi!! that is so exciting to hear - i was wondering if there were any corgi meetups in the city! bukowski has all his vaccines and so we will def be at the next one :)
We got our tris from a fellow member, Kacie from Tracy. Yea Bolt is pretty big but lean, about 35lbs too and Roxy is 30lbs but kinda hefty! Our red and white, Hayley, is pretty lean at 25 lbs...we got her from a breeder in Placerville, but I think they've moved to Arizona.
We won't be able to attend the next one because we will be out of town on vacation. But, we'll definitely try to catch a meetup at Mountain Lake in the future!!!
Hi Karen and Bailey! We actually haven't been to a corgi meetup in SF before. We attempted to go to the one in Mountain Lake, but found no corgis :( I think we were either too late or on the wrong side of the park..idk. But we're always at Ocean Beach, sometimes Crissy Fields.
Btw, I enjoyed looking through your photos. I especially like the photo of Bailey wearing the green bow tie! And the one with you measuring Bailey's length! Haha..love it!
There was no obvious sign. The only thing I could think of was his tiring on walks that he could normally handle easily, but after resting a moment he'd be raring to go again. He's always and a sway to his hips that I thought was cute but might have been a sign also. Other than that, he'd been perfectly fine. I'm sure Bailey will be just fine, HD isn't very common in corgis :)
Hi Karen and Bailey, We've been following your blog and left some comments which I'm sure you've seen. Timmy had an ACL injury in June of 2010 and had a "tight-rope" repair done on June 29th. He started physical rehab, (under water treadmill) at 3 wks post op. After 6 weeks of 2-3 times a week, he regained all his muscle mass and is now almost off restriction. In May he can begin to swim again. The pictures you saw were of his xpen prison and the surgical site a few days after the surgery.
It's good to hear from you and we do follow your blog! Keep up the good work, it's really nice.

Hi Karen!
Thank you for noticing about Sidney, that is so sweet. He has good days and sore days, most days are good :)
I "sold out" of the paw print bandanas, though at the end of the month I will try to buy more fabric and make some more. They were the most popular! I have the teal/brown squiggle pattern (1) and a wine/black diamond pattern (3) that I will post a pic of later tonight. If you would like either of those, please send me a private message. If you would rather wait for the paw print, I can send you a message when I get those done.
